Fuji Spray Mini-Mite 3 Platinum - With the Mini-Mite 3 PLATINUM Series you can spray cabinets, furniture, autos or pianos – in fact, anything wood or metal. It’s a powerful, portable system for all fine-finishing. Fuji Spray has designed a unique method of removing any heat build-up from the Turbine case. Excess heat is channeled to a Heat Dissipation Box located at the rear of the case.

The Mini-Mite 3 PLATINUM Turbines are equipped with a method to reduce noise. The Noise Reduction Covers house the Filters. Ambient air is entrained only from the rear effectively removing any Direct Sound Paths. Air is drawn in through specially designed ‘Finger Slots’ for optimum performance.

The Mini-Mite 3 PLATINUM G-XPC is a real favorite with cabinet makers and professionals. Fuji installs a powerful 3-stage Turbine Motor. The Mini-Mite 3 PLATINUM is a professional standard 3-stage system – by ‘standard’ we mean that the turbine does not have the patented noise-reduction feature as seen on the Fuji Q-Series. However the noise level is no more than any other standard HVLP turbine on the market. The MM3 Turbine develops 6.5psi. This is more than enough pressure to spray all known coatings (when properly thinned) and all the newer water-based coatings.

The gun is fantastic. I'm coming from an Earlex 5500 which is a good system, but the Fuji is definitely a step up. My only regret is not getting a stage 4, but this will spray nearly everything I need.

I've never used a spray gun of any kind and haven't had much luck with rattle cans. This was initially a bit intimidating, but this set-up seemed to work flawlessly. I am sure Inhabe plenty to learn from practice and experience, but this is a great introduction to a better way to apply finishes. I am building a set of kitchen cabinets for a client who wants a painted finish, and this thing looks like my results will be orders of magnitude better than using a brush.

5 of 5 Why did I take so long to upgrade to Fuji MINITE 3 May 7, 2023

Im a woodworker (30 year hobby ).   When I retired, I opted for the Fuji MiniMite 3 with the GXPC HVLP gun with the 3M PPS system which allows me to aim the gun in tight places and even spray upside down. Things I appreciate are :
1) No complicated compressor /HVLP setup (setup of temporary paint booth, compressor cfm requirements, dryer, water separator, orange peal finish,etc),
2) Minimal overspray- I was able to setup paint area in my garage and did not have to completely enclose the painting area as overspray is minimal.  
3). Cleanup is simple -   For cleanup (water based products), I remove the PPS cup and switch it with one with water with a few drops if dish soap and water and rinse again.  After this  disassembly and cleaning of the gun  is a breeze with the cleaning kit provided.

My only regret is not having upgraded sooner.  This has given me the confidence in finishing my projects which was hit and miss with a compressor based system.
